Cathleen worked as music copyist under Larry Rench for The Ocean: Our Liquid Universe. This original, one-night-only theatrical event celebrated the majesty, mystery, and essential nature of the ocean.
The event featured a 14-member cast of Oscar, Emmy, Actor, Tony, and BAFTA nominees and winners, including Lily Tomlin and Sharon Stone. The show is an exhilarating fusion of music, songs, and stories featuring passages from iconic authors including Homer, Jules Verne, and Jacques Cousteau, punctuated by songs from artists like Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and The Beatles.
The performance featured a 16-piece orchestra led by conductor Anthony Parnther and Grammy-winning composer Starr Parodi.
The event at the Saban Theatre, Los Angeles, served as a charity gala and benefit performance to raise awareness for ocean conservation.
